SiteKiosk: Bug Fix for critical error
On kiosk machines with SiteKiosk versions earlier than 8.7 under Windows 7, the system will in most cases become unusable after Internet Explorer 10 is installed. The affected SiteKiosk versions are 7.1 - 8.6. Any Windows 7 computers that have automatic updates enabled will be affected because Internet Explorer 10 is installed automatically as part of Windows updates.

All software resellers are strongly encouraged to forward this information to the operators of the kiosks. PROVISIO has no information about the end user and therefore cannot directly inform them!

Is SiteKiosk6 compatible with Windows 7?

If not, can we upgrade our licenses from SiteKiosk 6 to the newest version at a lower cost than purchasing new?

Hello,

With SiteKiosk 6.x Windows 7 is not supported.
You need at least the SiteKiosk version 7.1 or the actual SiteKiosk version 7.7 that can be used on Windows 7 (32Bit/64Bit).

You can obtain the new version at a favorable upgrade price.
You can upgrade from older versions (2.x/3.x/4.x/5.x/6.x) to the current version 7 by paying an upgrade fee. When placing your order, include your old license key or invoice number.
License keys purchased in 2008 or later remain valid and can be used in combination with version 7.
