Support Request: Error with ADP Website

Description

I have a Windows 8.1 system and I have set up the Site Kiosk for several employee links, one of which is the ADP login portal. When I log into the ADP site with the regular Internet Explorer browser 11 all the options on the web site are available. But when I login with the browser in Site Kiosk I keep getting an error message and none of the functions on the site work.

What is the error message you see on the screen? Does the error occur after you click a button or just after the page tries to load? When you say the functions do not work does that mean you get an error when you click a button or link or there is no response at all? Can you provide a link for testing?

We are having the same issues on the same site but we do not see any errors just nothing happens when you click the menus at the top. The menus come up when you click on one of the options on the taskbar on the page but nothing happens. If I login using IE it works fine when logged in as Administrator on the PC and as the sitekiosk user with it set to unprotected. Just it does nothing when using the sitekiosk itself. We have tried it with sitekiosk 8 and IE 10 and then upgraded to 9 with IE 11 now thinking that maybe it needed an update. If we try to use the Chrome browser settings it works ok but the Chrome browser settings won't work for everything else we use on there (the other part of the site uses Java which is no longer supported via Chrome). Any other ideas. This portal site is the main use of the kiosk for us and these menus are the main navigation of this new updated version of the site so this is a dealbreaker currently.

Does the following mean that it works in SiteKiosk Start Once mode when after you login as a Windows administrator but not in Autostart mode? You can also try to see if it is a compatibility view issue by doing the following:

Close the SiteKiosk configuration tool then open your configuration file in Notepad and search for:

<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true" />

and change it to this:

<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="false" />


SiteKiosk needs to be started twice for the setting to take effect so start SiteKiosk in Start Once mode then close it right after it start and run it in Start Once mode again to test the issue. Save the file then test in SiteKiosk.

This did not do anything different once applied. What I meant from my previous comment was that if you login as the sitekiosk user after exiting out of the sitekiosk software (change to unprotected first) then exit out it will run fine on IE. Whether I run it on Run Once or Always it does nothing on those menus when the kiosk software is running.
