Support Request: Print from google

Description

Using AskCody for guests to type in information that then are printed on a label.
AskCody runs in Chrome as a webpage.

When printing from Chrome print fits to the label, but when I then start Sitekiosk and print (without print popup) it dosent use the print settings from Chrome, which means that the format on the layout dosent fit - its there but it dosent center on the label like it should (see image in the zip), i can probally alter this by changing the margins around it, but dunno what the effect of that will be if we need some kind of template to be used for the labels.

So is there something to do so it will center it like it should from chrome ?
Why cant it just use the print settings u put in Chrome ?

Hello,

The Chrome Skin in SiteKiosk doesn’t use the Chrome Browser but a Chromium CEF Browser Engine that will be installed with SiteKiosk. So the Chrome settings do not apply but only the Windows settings for the printer and the margin settings in the SiteKiosk configuration.

You may first check the margin settings in the SiteKiosk configuration (>>Print; maybe check to use the same margins like in Chrome) and also the printer settings itself (paper size setting etc.).
Then test it in “Start once” mode (in the user account where it worked in Chrome).
If it works you also should check the printer settings in the SiteKiosk user account (used in Auto Start mode).
Here is the information on how to get access (admin rights for the SiteKiosk user should not be necessary): https://www.provisio.com/en-GB/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=5826
