Entering the license key in the registration dialog box
Read here how to enter the license key correctly!
The installation version available on our website is a full version. It includes ALL the features [Plug-Ins] we created. Thus, you will be able to test SiteKiosk in an unlimited trial version before you license the software.
Although the software on our website is a full version, there are some restrictions that apply to the unregistered version:
-
Every user of SiteKiosk will be able to get into the 'Exit' dialog box with ANY password. The 'Exit' dialog box, however, will in turn grant the user access to the operating system.
-
A shareware window will pop up in the SiteKiosk browser every 5 minutes blocking at the same time any user actions for 30 seconds.
-
On every SiteKiosk startup (even if auto start should be turned on), SiteKiosk will prompt you to enter the registration code.
We therefore encourage you to obtain a license from our website.
With regards to the [Plug-Ins] available (e.g. SiteCoach, SiteCam, SiteCafe, SiteDog, SiteCash ...) the following restrictions will apply:
As soon as you enable a [Plug-In] which is not yet part of the bundle you purchased, SiteKiosk will act like an unregistered version!
Entering the License Key Correctly
If you license SiteKiosk, we will send you a release code:
Registering name : "company's name - 1 Licence(s)"
Registering code : "MTWTC-9W6FP-6F9RK-BDTQC-R43B2"
|
Please enter this information into the respective fields of the registering dialog box. When you do this, make sure you enter ALL information given in inverted commas but WITHOUT the inverted commas themselves.
After that, please press REGISTER! You will be shown a message indicating whether you have entered a correct code or not.
Important:
- As soon as you enable a [Plug-In] that is not included in your license key, SiteKiosk will act like an unregistered version again.
License violations:
Similarly to Microsoft XP, the following information will be sent to our main server in order to check your license:
- Registering name of licensee
- Registering code of licensee
- Number of registered basic licenses and [Plug-Ins]
- Company's name and name of licensee
- IP-Address, e-mail Address, MAC-Address and name of the computer
- Windows Name and Version
- Internet Explorer Version
- CPU Information
It is not necessary to order a new license key when changing your operating system or performing a reinstallation. Thus, you will be able to (re-)install your license several times (e.g. for testing reasons) and even change the computer.
If license misuse is obvious, we reserve the right to take legal action.
