The Payment Module is a generic interface for quite a few different time protocol, access control, and payment devices. The Payment Module can control coin checkers, money card readers, bill readers, etc.
Information regarding the shareware version:
In order to make it possible for you to test the functionality of the Payment Module without the need to install any additional hardware, we developed a "
Payment simulation dialog box (for testing)".
Please select the "Payment simulation dialog box (for testing)" device from the list of available payment devices and activate it. Then you can use an input field to credit and withdraw money units (

With this option checked, the Payment Module is enabled and further options are accessible.

Global Configuration
Price-by-hour basis
To make things easier, we introduced a basic hourly rate. In general, the basic hourly rate will be valid for any URL at any time of the day unless you have specified something else. You can set the basic hourly rate to any value you like.
Note:
The Start Page will always be free of charge, even when there is no credit balance available. However, as soon as money was paid into the account, the user will be charged the basic hourly rate for viewing the Start Page, among other pages. You can also define other payment modes.
If you want to change the main currency, you can do so under Advanced.

Pull Mode (Debiting Individual Amounts by Means of Scripts)
SiteKiosk allows you to request individual amounts by using the script interface.
If you want to offer a web site or a certain service (e.g. games) for a flat fee, rather than on a price per minute basis, you will need the pull mode!
Notes and tips:
- With the help of zone rates, you can charge the user for using applications indirectly .
- You can define the price per page for every print job under ADVANCED.
- You can define the rates for using the Webcam plugin in the zone rates.
- You can use several devices at the same time.
- SiteRemote generates accurate protocols and statistics about the transactions.
- If you are using connect on demand, the online connection will be terminated if the startpage is not an online page. In this case the connection will be terminated after the "connect on demand" time.
