Support Request: keyboard Input focus with screensaver active

Description

I have barcode scanner configured as HID (as a keyboard). The webpage beeing displayed has an input field that automatically takes the focus, so when ever a barcode is scanned the web page gets the content.

This works fine except when the barcode is scanned when the screensaver is active.

Is it possible to make sitekiosk receive all the input from the barcode scanner, and do a POST or GET to a web page with the scanned barcode?
Or is there some other solution to make the barcode (keyboard) input go directly to the web-page?

Hello,

As you use a keyboard emulated device this is a dedicated behavior.

Actually this is not possible. But with a future version (not the next version but a version that should be published within this year) we will implement a driver for keyboard emulated devices that you can use with the SiteKiosk Object Model then.

The only solution in this case is to deactivate the screen saver or use the option to display the start page when the screen saver activates:
