This would require a separate application (.exe) that can monitor the battery life and have the battery life icon in the system tray. The application has to be added to the "Application" section of the configuration file, and the SiteKiosk software running under the limited user account (with shell replacement) for the icon from the application to run properly. Any third party application that works properly in Windows should also work in SiteKiosk when added as an allowed application. There are a number of free as well as paid solutions available for download.

I have tried installing battery bar and adding it to the applications. Using the config app, however it never shows up on the taskbar under the sitekiosk. If we launch it manually it runs, but doesn't appear. If we "test" launch it it gives the error message file not found.

Please test this in Autostart mode. The information from other applications would only be available in Autostart mode.

Has anyone been able to get a taskbar battery indicator to work? I'm running Windows 10, SiteKiosk 9.6.4216, Chrome Browser, and the SiteKiosk secured account with shell replacement, and I haven't found anything that works yet (even if launched automatically). A checkbox, or some other way to display one on the taskbar would be perfect.
