Support Request: Controlling which Youtube videos are seen

Description

Hello,

I have just setup a kiosk for an museum and they want to display specific videos from a youtube account. What I dont want to happen is for you tube to display a tile of unrelated videos following the showing of the video that we do want to see.

Is there are way of limiting what is shown on the video player ?

Many thanks

Rhys

Hello,

Generally you can use the Surfing Area settings for this:
http://www.provisio.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?surfing_area.htm

But unfortunately this doesn’t work with the YouTube pages because Google does some tricks in their web page code so that videos can be displayed even when the main URL you navigate to doesn’t change (because it is blocked).

Therefore you should embed the Youtube Video(s) to your own html pages and configure the Surfing Area that only you html page / files can be accessed.
