Support Request: Email alerts Siteremote

Description

Hello,
I did not receive any email alerts from SiteRemote - see attachments for details.
If I try to send a TEST email (by button TEST) I got it.
Thank you for help.

Hello,

As I can’t find your e-mail on https://www.siteremote.net it seems you run your own SiteRemote server.

Generally there is no known issue and SiteRemote is just using the SMTP service (server) you configure on the settings page.
By default SiteRemote connects to the local SMTP server installed with Windows Server.
The rest applies to the SMTP server settings. You can’t use user name or password for connecting to the SMTP server it is just a simple and direct SMTP connection.

As the test e-mail comes through the SMPT configuration seems to be correct.

- Make sure that the alert is displayed on SiteRemote (at the Alerts box on the main page or overview page of the machine)
- Make sure the SiteRemote user you did await the e-mail for also responsible for the machine you had the alert for.
- Also check your Junk / Spam folder of your e-mail application or on your e-mail server. What that mail server is doing with it, is beyond our influence. You should check his spam folder, spam filter settings and/or talk with the IT department.

Hello,

It was a problem:

- Make sure the SiteRemote user you did await the e-mail for also responsible for the machine you had the alert for.

Resolved.

Thank you
