Support Request: Sitekiosk legacy digital siganage

Description

I want to know if sitecaster is now included with siteremote; being that digital signage is no longer supported (legacy). Our siteremote server has some problems and can not launch the sitecaster editor. So if we need to switch to sitecaster, I'll need to look in to getting our server fixed (on premises server), or using the hosted siteremote solution.

Thanks!

What message do you get when you try to open the Sitecaster editor? What browser are you using? The supported browsers are Chrome and Firefox.

as a side note the URL it directs us to is:
https://pmc-sitekiosk.snoco.co.snohomish.wa.us/Authentication/Authorize.aspx?response_type=code&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2FPMC-SiteKiosk.snoco.co.snohomish.wa.us%2Fsitecastercms%2Fauth%2Fprovider%2Fcallback&scope=MachineManager%20UserManager%20LicenseInfo%20Auditing&client_id=SiteCasterCMS

I see there's a "LicenseInfo" in there, so I was curious if maybe its a licensing issue.. I think when we setup Siteremote server, Sitecaster was an added cost in licenseing, so we didn't get it.. Which led to my original question if its now included, and maybe we have to reinstall Siteremote with a new license.. or something of that nature.

As far as the error is concerned, there shouldnt be an issue opening the sitecaster editor. If you open the editor in another browser like Firefox or Chrome, do you get the same error? If you know you didnt purchase it, then yes you would need a license for it but it is only included if you purchased the SiteRemote/SiteCaster bundle. You could email sales-us(at)provisio.com or call us and we could take a look at your account to see what you already have, if you did in fact purchase a bundle, or need to purchase licenses for SiteCaster.

yes, same error on both browsers. The server is generating this message (in the event viewer)
Event code: 3005
Event message: An unhandled exception has occurred.
Event ID: 70c7d3c06020424c9874e8a527cb917c
Event sequence: 15
Event occurrence: 7
Event detail code: 0
Process information:

Process name: w3wp.exe
Account name: IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool

Like I said originally, I suspect its due to our siteremote installation. So I will get with the licensing folks and see about getting the combo siteremote + sitecaster license. I suspect we will have to reinstall siteremote if we get a new license at which point I'll work at resolving this error. I'll resolve this issue for now until I get our licensing straightened out because I suspect it will involve reinstalling siteremote.

thanks for the info!
