Support Request: Chrome Browser issues

Description

When I go to print a file from a webpage I get a pop up screen with the title "about:blank#blocked"

However, it can printed fine through IE. The problem is we have another webpage that only works in Chrome so we need to have the same printing functionality in Chrome as we do IE.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Just a quick note: SiteKiosk 9.6 is out of support and any assistance provided will be based on the newest version currently, 9.7 Build 5324. After reviewing your configuration file, about:blank should not be blocked. Please send your log files (yyyy-mm-dd.txt) found in C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles to: support-america(at)provisio.com, based on the dates the block happened. Please also provide an explanation of what area of your website would produce this error.

Best regards,
Andre.

Hello,

Thank you for providing the files and other helpful information on the matter. The website was not compatible with Chrome engine inside of SiteKiosk due to the usage of MS Silverlight. In general, if you are using Silverlight, you must choose IE as your browser engine. For the differing web links that need IE or Chrome, you could consider using two computers where one supports IE and the other Chrome.

Helpful information: Please be sure that Silverlight works in Internet Explorer outside of SiteKiosk (without confirming any security or setup dialogs) while logged in with the same user account SiteKiosk is started within. In "Auto Start" mode, it is the SiteKiosk user account (if you did not choose another). Here is the information about how to get access to check IE in the SiteKiosk user account: https://www.provisio.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=5826

Best regards,
Andre.
