Support Anfrage: Request for help in setting up the application.

Beschreibung

In our company, SiteKiosk software is used for an internal portal. Some time ago, it was updated and now you need to use the "Windows 10 account" plugin to log in to it via Google Chrome. Please let me know how I can install this plugin in the application?

Work via IE will soon be discontinued, so it will not be possible to use it in the future.

Hello,

The Chrome browser skin of SiteKiosk does not use Chrome but the Chromium CEF engine. More information here: https://bitbucket.org/chromiumembedded/cef/src/master/README.md

Using Chrome plugins is actually not really possible when using Chromium CEF.

I would suggest using Windows authentication for this.
In that case you just need to start SiteKiosk within a Windows user account having access to the page in other browsers (e.g. Edge) without further login.

Otherwise, you could still check the content of the Chrome Extension and whether it might be possible to rebuild it by accessing the DOM of the web page.

Or you may check this for a general auto login:

unfortunately, authorization using a Windows account is only possible in IE.
Then I will try the option with Manipulating the DOM within the SiteKiosk Windows Chrome Browser.
thanks for the information.
