Support Anfrage: Not printing PDF labels in Chrome

Beschreibung

We a using SiteKiosk with the GHX Vendormate website. We cannot seen to be able to get the labels to print correctly using SiteKiosk. The labels print fine when I just use the browser but when we run SiteKiosk I can no longer print labels.

When the label is created it looks like it's creating a PDF. SiteKiosk seems to be missing this step and prints the page showing in the browser and not the label that is to be generated.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Can you confirm that you have tested the latest SiteKiosk version build 6191? See: https://www.sitekiosk.com/sitekiosk-windows-version-history/

Since SiteKiosk 9.9.6191, PDF files will be displayed in viewer with a download icon. With this, you will need to allow Downloads and turn on the Print icon in the Browser Toolbar to print these files.

If you still have not found a resolution, you can send the following to "support-america(at)sitekiosk.com":
- Configuration - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Config (*.skcfg file, ignore *.skcfg.local)
- SiteKiosk Log files - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles (yyyy-mm-dd.txt files)

Looks like the version I downloaded on 6/21/2022 is file version 9.9.11320.

Hello,

If you downloaded the latest version, (you could confirm this on the Configuration Editor, or the bottom of SiteKiosk Quick Start menu), you can set these settings for PDF files and test:

- In Customize (Chrome Browser)>>Browser Toolbar, turn on "Show Print Button"
- In Customize (Chrome Browser)>>Downloads, turn on "Allow downloads"
- In Configuration>>Logout, turn on "Delete downloaded file"
- In Configuration>>Print, review settings for "Printing Behavior" (default option prints to default Windows printer)

We are on the latest version. I just confirmed.

It looks like SiteKiosk is not allowing the Chrome Print Dialog box to open. It completely bypasses this and it will not print the label being generated. Instead it prints the resting webpage that says "Your Badge is printing".

Any suggestions?
