Support Request: Accented characters problem

Description

Hello,

We can't use accented characters ; more particularly the circumflex accents and its umlauts.

We tested with multiple keyboard, we can't tape : î, ï, ô or ö

Can you help us ?

In general, the current on screen keyboards (like Windows 8 Touchscreen) are using the keyboard language(s) configured on Windows.
So, you just need to configure the corresponding keyboard language(s) on Windows.

Note that Windows language/keyboard layout settings may differ for different Windows users, please check the settings for the user under which you want to run SiteKiosk.

Hello,

SiteKiosk will use the keyboard languages available in Windows. So you need to add the keyboard language layout on Windows first. For the “Auto Start” mode change / configure the keyboard language on Windows accordingly.

Hello,

You can see on my screenshot the french keyboard is active on Windows.
Everything works properly in SK execpt ¨ and ^

I can enter a ¨ or a ^ with the SK keyboard, but I can use this accents on a letter.

Finally, I don't understand the link with "Auto Start Mode"
We never used "System Security Manager" or the SK user.

Hello;

As it works with the Windows keyboard:
Does it work with the onscreen keyboard of SiteKiosk when starting SiteKiosk in "Start once" mode (for testing only) in the same user account where it worked with the Windows osk?
Which onscreen keyboard did you configure in SiteKiosk?
Which key combination do you need to press (exactly) on the normal keyboard to get these characters.

The SiteKiosk user is automatically used in “Auto Start”
