Support Request: Chrome OS Question

Description

We are currently using the Windows SiteKiosk product and we are looking at replacing the Windows computers with ChromeBox computers running the Chrome OS. Will the SiteKiosk Android product work on the Chrome OS? Also is there an on screen keyboard available on the SiteKiosk Android version?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. SiteKiosk Android was only developed and tested for Android tablet devices. Users have used it in other environments (TV's, mini-PC's, Emulators, etc) with success but there is no guarantee it will work, nor will further support be given (for the device). You are free to test it in Chrome OS environment (no license needed for testing).

On screen keyboard in Android OS is native to the OS due to mostly touch screen interface. There is no need to turn it on or off. It is called whenever a text entry is required.

You can find more information on getting started from the SiteKiosk Android Quick Start Guide: https://www.provisio.com/Link/SKAQuick

Best regards,
Andre.
