Support Request: Registering devices that have ben offline

Description

We use SiteKiosk for our members via Android tablets. During the pandemic, many of these devices were put away due to health concerns so many of them have been offline for over a year. When we try to get them to check in they are not registering. We need assistance with getting these long offline devices to check in a again a re-register with the server. When I attempt re-registration I get a message right away that it was denied by the server. I have tried using an updated license key but it did not resolve the issue.

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Based on your description, there could have been a lot of changes that happened over one year. Here are the ports required for the communication between SiteKiosk and SiteRemote Sever:

I would like to clarify that the connection to the server is not affected by the license key. More than likely, it could just be a connection issue. Could you please send an image of the error message you are receiving to support-america(at)provisio.com ?

Hello,

In addition to the previous post, I would like to verify that you are using an in-house server or www.siteremote.net. If you have been using www.siteremote.net, when your SiteKiosk Server/SiteRemote license has been expired for your entire team account, then the team account will be deleted after 60 days. You then will need to recreate a new team account (first 30 days free by default, up to 10 devices) before purchasing new licenses for your devices.

If you are using an on-premises/in-house SiteRemote Server, can you verify that you have been able to sign in to the front end and you are able to view the devices as offline under Monitoring?
