Support Request: Windows screensaver running on top of sitekiosk software

Description

All of our kiosks are experiencing issue where the Windows screensaver is activating and running over the sitekiosk along with our company disclaimer appearing on reboot of kiosk even though we have sitekiosk configured for automatic login. Disabling the windows screensaver still does not appear to resolve it . What else can be causing this to happen?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. If your computer is part of your organization's domain, then group policies can override any local settings on the computer. You may need to test your device on or off your domain. Otherwise, SiteKiosk does use Windows screensaver for settings like "Blank" and "Photos". If you have "SiteKiosk Player" selected in >>Configuration>>Screensaver, then those settings will not apply.

Note: Support is provided for the most recent version of SiteKiosk, v9.9 build 5895.

that was it, a GPO was causing our issue. Thanks. We've corrected it and all back to normal.
