FAQ: When registering SiteKiosk to SiteRemote (-->Remote Monitoring), the error 0 is displayed in the SiteKiosk configuration


The error message 0 mostly means that there is a general problem with the Client > Server communication.
Port 8086 may be open, but the subsequent communication is affected by the firewall.

Check the firewall (all between client and server) or test it again in another network if necessary.

General note:
The "SiteRemote Client" service (which is responsible for communication between the SiteKiosk computer and SiteRemote) does not take any proxy settings into account.
A direct connection to the SiteRemote server via port 8086 (default) is required.
