Bug Report: External request




Hi there,

I installed sitekiosk with chrome kiosk pc on a intranet displaying a website on local server, the intranet have internet/external request blocked by a proxy, but when I use my application I get the popup box of my proxy asking for user e psw.
At the moment I cannot analyze the traffic, cause is not my intranet and I have no access, so I was thinking if sitekiosk make some external/internet request while running, maybe for license check / update check or something else.

There is no known issue and SiteKiosk just uses the network connection provided by Windows (like other browsers do).

If you get a password dialog before you can connect to the internet or network it comes from the proxy server you use.
You may also test in “Start once” mode where you stay in the Windows user account and not change to the SiteKiosk user.
