Support Request: Popup blocker with chrome

Description

Hi,

Is it possible to authorize a popup for a specific website in SiteKiosk 9.8 with Chrome Browser ?
Otherwise, is it possible to disable the popup blocker ?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. Support is provided for the most current version: v9.9 build 5895. SiteKiosk Chrome Browser does not have a pop-up blocker option. To fully understand what is causing this error, we would need to review your SiteKiosk configuration file.

What is currently known is that if you are using SiteKiosk Chrome and have a site that needs to open another window, then you would have turn off Fullscreen mode in Configuration>>"Start Page and Browser". SiteKiosk browser will open that second window as a browser tab. Not all windows are affected by this (more detailed analysis is needed to compare the case).

As an alternative to Fullscreen mode, you will need at least these features in the Customize (Chrome Browser):
>>Browser Toolbar>>Show Tab Bar & Toggle Tab Bar Button
>>Advanced>>Display Taskbar (Uncheck this option)
>>Advanced>>"Maximum number of browser window/tabs", set to more than 1
>>Settings>>"Redirect new windows/tabs to the main window" (Uncheck this option)

If the recommendation above does not solve this issue for you, please send the following to support-america(at)sitekiosk.com:

Configuration - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Config (*.skcfg files, ignore *.skcfg.local)
SiteKiosk Log files - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles (yyyy-mm-dd.txt files)

I fixed my problem by modifiying my browser settings with what you told me :

>>Browser Toolbar>>Show Tab Bar & Toggle Tab Bar Button (check this option)
>>Advanced>>Display Taskbar (Uncheck this option)
>>Advanced>>"Maximum number of browser window/tabs", set to more than 1 (already set to maximum)
>>Settings>>"Redirect new windows/tabs to the main window" (Uncheck this option)
