Support Request: Cannot Print via Chrome Browser

Description

We recently had to move from using Internet Explorer to Chrome because of updates with the sites we give customers access to. Since moving from IE to Chrome, documents no longer print correctly. When selecting to print a multi-page document in Chrome, all that prints is 1 page with the "outside frame". How do I get these documents to print the way they did in IE?

Hello,

Thank you for your inquiry. SiteKiosk 9.6 is out of support. Any information discussed, will be based on the current version 9.9.6014.

When switching from IE to Chrome, you need to review the browser options in "Start Page & Browser">>Chrome Browser>>Customize (green button) [Browser Toolbar>>Print Button is off by default].

Once reviewed, you will switch to Configuration>>Print. There you will choose either of these in "Printing behavior": "Print web page as laid out on screen" or "Show Standard Windows Print Dialogue Box". On the right, you have options to edit the "Margin (Inches)" without going into Windows Printer Settings. Please test these.

If the options above did not work for you, you can download the latest version of SiteKiosk to test on another computer without a license: https://www.sitekiosk.com/software-downloads/

If testing the newest version did not work for you, please send the following by email to support-america(at)sitekiosk.com :

-Printer model and driver versions
-Description of the issue or reference to this post
-Configuration - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Config (*.skcfg files, ignore *.skcfg.local)
-SiteKiosk Log files - C:\Program Files (x86)\SiteKiosk\Logfiles (yyyy-mm-dd.txt files)

Best regards,
Andre.
