Support Request: Windows services doesn't work with auto start

Description

We have a service that print a receipt and starts and works properly if we start SiteKiosk from Start Once button. Instead if we automatically start SiteKiosk the service doesn't work. What can I do?

Hello,

Windows services are usually started independently of the SiteKiosk user / any Windows user login.
However, it is best to check if the printer you want to use is set as the default printer under the SiteKiosk user account (used in Auto Start mode) and if you can also print outside SiteKiosk (keyword: user-dependent Windows / printer settings).

Otherwise, the printer may need more access rights. Pease see here at "Information about the problem that only administrators (initial start of SiteKiosk) will be able to print"
