Support Request: On-Screen keyboard enable/disable

Description

Hi
In one of your presentation materials you write:
Visible and invisible
Do you want the on-screen keyboard only visible on certain websites, like a form
page? No problem!

How - or rather where is this accomplished?

Hello,

For this you can go to ">On-Screen Keyboard>Advanced" in the SiteKiosk configuration.
Scroll down to "On-screen keyboard Zones".

There you have the choice to always hide the onscreen keyboard and add URLs where you want the keyboard to be visible or if you want to hide the onscreen keyboard on specific web pages (URLs).
Further information you will find in the SiteKiosk help (2.2. On-screen keyboard zones):

Thanks, Got it!

I didn't notice the scroll-bar on the advanced page :)

No problem. Thank you for your feedback.
Re: On-Screen keyboard enable/disable 6/16/2022 9:33 AM
Additional question: How can I use wildcard to ensure I don't have to enter URL's with all kinds of different query partameters eg:

http://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/xxxxxOnlineVIPKiosk/pre/terminal_pre.aspx?hotelid=79049&langcode=da&refnr=376874&nokey=0&guestnr=0&guestype=guest&priceDecimal=0&cancellfee=n&Frompaymentsystem=YES&arrangementlinenumber=&bookmode=oldres

idealy it should work like this http://xxxxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/xxxxxOnlineVIPKiosk/pre/terminal_pre.aspx?*

but it doesn't.

Hello,

generally, wildcards do work.
Also see SiteKiosk help "2.2. On-screen keyboard zones":
https://www.sitekiosk.com/helpconsole/SiteKiosk%20Help/en-US/default.htm?on-_screen_keyboard.htm

Did you check the protocol?
Your example e.g. only works with http:// but not with https://.
If necessary you can also choose *:// as protocol.

Otherwise, you should check the SiteKiosk log to see exactly which URL(s) are opened (…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles).
