Support Request: Windows 10 - OSK (On Screen Keyboard)

Description

Hi

I'm having trouble enabling the build in widnows 10 on screen keyboard.
I have 2 devices (one new & one old).

On one of our kiosks it works properly but the new one it doesn't.
The on screen keyboard doesn't pop up before the kiosk...
As soon as I close sitekiosk, the OSK pops up.

I've tried several things already... (reg keys/schedular to launch OSK on launch of windows)

Any advice to get this working? Is it some setting within sitekiosk itself to enable it being able to come up front or have it started?
When sitekiosk closes, it takes a few seconds before the OSK pops up. As if there's a delay needed before sitekiosk has to start when rebooting pc.

Hello,

SiteKiosk does not block the Windows On-Screen Keyboard by default and there is no setting within SiteKiosk to explicitly enable or disable the Windows On-Screen Keyboard.
Please note that SiteKiosk comes with its own on-screen keyboards and these are the only ones we officially support.

Hi

Yes, but am I correct that I need a addon license to activate those keyboards or are there some free ones to use aswell within sitekiosk?

If I have a look at the device it works now, the keyboard looks like the one from windows itself.

Hello,

that depends on when you bought your licenses. In the past you needed at least a Plus license of SiteKiosk but current versions of SiteKiosk include the keyboards in the standard license.
Please contact our sales department to clarify whether your licenses already include the keyboard or not: https://www.sitekiosk.com/eu/contact/
