Support Request: Wake up and sleep under Sitekiosk Android

Description

Hello,

We cannot use the sleep and wake up commands under Sitekiosk Android with a IIYama Screen with Android 8.0 (IIYama PROLITE LH4342UHS-B3).

We dont understand the power off hours on Android : 0 to 24 hours... if 0 is set does it mean that it is never powered off and if we set it to 17, does it mean that is will power off at 5 pm or only after 17 hours of use ?

We have tried the differend solution with the sleep mode in the system option of Sitekiosk Android but it does not power off... All the accesses have been granted to sitekiosk under Android.

Thank you very much if you have an explanation.

Hello,
0 means 12am, 17 means 5pm and so on.
In order for the display to actually turn off you have to go into the Android settings and configure a time after which the display turns off, e.g. 30 seconds. The display will then turn off 30 seconds after the time configured in SiteKiosk has been reached. This is due to the security settings of the Android OS.
Also note that we cannot guarantee that this works on all Android devices, contrary to Windows Google allows each manufacturer to make extensive and significant changes to its OS, which means that the standards we use to interact with the OS are not available on each device.
