We're using Sitekiosk in an installation that uses one main monitor connected to HDMI and one projector connected to MiniDisplayport. The computer is a Mac Mini running in Windows 8.1.
In Sitekiosk I use the two screen setup. The first screen, i.e. the main monitor, shows a page where users can select videos by tapping on the screen, and the second screen, i.e. the projector, shows the videos that is selected.
The computer is powered 24/7, and I have configured Sitekiosk to do a restart at 08:00 AM every day. The projector is powered off every evening, and powered on every morning at 09:00 AM.
Our problem is that since the computer is restarted when the projector is off, it can only see the main monitor. Then when the projector is powered on at 09:00 AM, Sitekiosk doesn't recognize the projector and therefor doesn't show the videos selected on the main screen, instead it show some sort of Sitekiosk default image of a safe.
The only way to have Sitekiosk recognize the second screen is to do a restart of the program.
I have also done this test: I turn of the projector and start the computer in Windows, and the system only recognizes the main monitor. But if I then turn on the projector the system immediately recognizes the projector, and extend to a dual screen setup.
Is there some way to make Sitekiosk automatically recognize the projector when it's powered on, the same way that the Windows system does, and show the videos?
