Support Request: Digital Signage Tab

Reproduction

Reproduce by going to Digital Signage tab and upload an image, RSS feed, scrolling text, etc., and click on submit.

Description

Hello,
We are testing with the Digital Signage tab and when we try to upload an image, text, RSS feed, etc., and click submit, the page just goes blank. It's identical to the following post:
http://ns2.provisio.com/en-US/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=20358

We've tried clearing cache, tried with IE 8 and 9, Firefox 27, Chrome 34, and all are doing the same thing. This has been happening all the time.

Please advise.

Hello,

Unfortunately it is not reproducible. I logged into your team (Lane Transit District) and uploaded 2 JPG files to the campaign “James Test” (one with using Firefox 29.0.1 and one with using IE10)

There is also no known issue with using IE9 or Firefox 28 (https://www.siteremote.net/help/en-US/02requirements.aspx) but if there is no special reason for using these older browser versions you may check again with using a more current version of Firefox or Internet Explorer (on another machine?).

Also note:
The Digital Signage Silverlight application runs locally at the client machine where you use the SiteRemote Web page at.

For a faster usage of the campaign editor in the web page Silverlight will cache the files you add to the campaign locally the Home directory of the logged in Windows user (default: C:\Users\XXXXXXXXX\Documents\SiteCaster\site\TeamRoot\Campaigns\).

If you (or your domain administrator) changed the home directory location of the Windows user you logged in with to a network drive it can lead to access and/or timing issues with Silverlight.
In that case you should make sure that the Windows user does use the local Documents folder again.

Silverlight seems to have a problem when that folder is not at the local machine but in a network folder like in your network environment and unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.
