Support Request: Custom app caching information

Reproduction

Hello,

We have our custom application (Windows based exe) running inside site kiosk. This application has a logon form with text fields to input the customers username and password.

Last week we had an instance where the information read from the textbox did not match the information assigned to the variable and sent to the webservice. Its as if the application ignored the customers input and placed some cached data into the webservice call.

We have been using site kiosk for over a yr now, and last week was the first time it happened on 2 different machines running site kiosk.

Has this issue ever been reported before?

SiteKiosk has no direct influence to the behavior of external applications. You can just allow or block the start of the exe. Therefore this problem applies to the external application. You will need to exit SiteKiosk and test in the Administrator account to test, you may also check your Windows Event logs for additional information on the behavior.
