Support Request: Forgot key combination to drop to desktop

Description

Hi,

We have two computers running SiteKiosk version 8. We are unable to boot to the desktop or restore to the desktop. Typing in skcmd://quit into the address bar of the browser does nothing. How can we get back to the desktop?

We are also looking at upgrading these machines from XP to 7, or possibly replacing with Windows 8 machines. Is this possible with version 8, and are the necessary files available for download from yourselves?

SiteKiosk 8 is compatible with Win 7 and Win 8.1 since version 8.5. for more details, please see the version history of SiteKiosk: http://provisio.com/Downloads/VersionHistory.aspx

To confirm; we can download and use the latest version and using our existing license key that was provided with version 8.2?
The details on your website read as if we would need to pay up upgrade if we were using a lower major version (7, for example)

Hi,

if you want to downgrade you need another license key which can be ordered free of charge. With each license you buy you get one year of free updates. Therefore you cannot use your 8.2 license key with 8.9.
