Support Request: Encoding Issue in viewing web-mail from yahoo and hotmail

Reproduction

I

Description

I cannot read the content of web emails simply because the character code of the email content (e.g. GB code) is different from that of the interface of the web-based email system (i.e. Big 5) for Yahoo and Hotmail, etc. It seems unfriendly that a basic and simple function of changing the selection of encoding method on webpages widely available from the menu of popular web browsers (i.e. IE or Firefox) is not found in the web browser running on SiteKiosk.

Please advise any alternative solution.

Hello,

Unfortunately the feature to change the web page encoding has not been implemented yet.

Usually is not necessary as normally there is a meta tag available on the web pages which tells the browser which encoding to use (e.g. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=big5">) The automatic switching to the correct encoding works in SiteKiosk as well as within the IE.

But generally it is planned to integrate this feature for future versions.
