Support Request: Widget Not displaying on Start Page

Description

Morning
I created a HTML widget on the IE Start Screen and it shows correctly in Editor. Here is the code I have attached a document showing the screen shots of the Editor and the Start Screen
<!--Weatherzone local weather -->

<style type="text/css">

.weatherzone {font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Sans_Serif; font-size: small; font-weight: normal; color: #323232; background-color: #EFEFEF; }
.weatherzone_head {font-family: Tahoma, Arial, Sans-Serif; font-size: small; font-weight: bold; text-align: center; color: #EFEFEF; background-color: #4185A5; }

</style>

<script type="text/javascript" src="//www.weatherzone.com.au/woys/page_local.jsp?postcode=2251"></script>
<a href="http.weatherzone.com.au"></a>

What am I doing wrong?

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for your patience. The issue with your widget code is that your links do not have any protocol identified. For example, http:// or https://. Once added, it should work as intended.

Best regards.
Andre.

Thank you for that. it worked. I am new to HTML and also SiteKiosk. I know there is documentation, but for a newbie like me it is too technical. Do you have a simple step by step documents that would help me?

Hello,

I have included links to Start Screen start page tutorial videos below. As an alternative to the Start Screen start page, you could use the browser and show your web page as the start page and add custom button links to the browser toolbar. To do that, select the browser as your start page and click the green customize button.
