Support Request: Error Message

Reproduction

Click on on SiteRemote Administration menu in the start menu

Description

After installing SiteRemote on windows server 2003 I always get an error message when I run either the SiteRemote application or the Admininistration application. There is just one line of text which says:

%1 is not a valid Win32 application.

Can you please let me know why I get this message and how to resolve it.

Hello,

Can you open the SiteRemote Administration if you enter http://localhost/administration into the URL address bar of the Internet Explorer on your server?

Can you start the SiteRemote Console by entering C:\Programme\PROVISIO\SiteRemote\Service\SiteRemoteServerConsole.exe
Into the command line window (cmd.exe)?

I can't use that address because i have not installed the application into the default website, since our server is running more than one application. The application actually exists at http://localhost/siteremote/administration/.

I can open the console from the command prompt as stated and it says the server is stopped.

Is there any problem running siteremote on a 64bit machine?

I reinstalled the application changing the name from siteremote to skremotemon and it started working. Is it just the name which causes the %1 error message?

Hello,

There is no known problem installing SiteRemote on the 64 Bit version of Windows Server 2003.

Where did you change the name from siteremote to skremotemon?
As our installation doesn’t use the name "skremotemon" anywhere it must be a name you have configured before.
