Support Request: Unable to Launch Windows Media Player

Reproduction

When I configure the SiteKiosk security to Unprotected I can launch Windows Media Player but in Protected mode I cannot. I have updated the ProgramPatcher but with no success.

Hi,

we do not recommend to use Windows Media Player if possible for security reason. If you still want to use it you have to deactivate the entry for wmplayer.exe inside of the System Security Assistant. Therefore switch to customized settings and uncheck the entry for that player in the program section.

Hi,

it is possible to use that Media Player for surfing without beeing under the SiteKiosk restrictions for example.
