Description

Hello;

On our:
fftouch.sporter.com
if you run Sitekiosk then try to add an item then checkout; you can see that the checkout page is with a missed-up layout... this was not there before in version 8.7

Please tell us how to resolve this urgently + tell us how to go back to the old version and how to disable updating Sitekiosk as this is really affecting our business.

What is the IE version you are running on this computer?

As mentioned 10.0, but this is not the problem

If you run IE alone without Sitekiosk and view the checkout page; everything will be fine.. same page using Sitekiosk will have a layout problem... you can try this on your Sitekiosk and then try it alone using the IE

As a quick fix; is there anyway to downgrade the version? as it is working properly on Sitekiosk 8.7 we have on another machine and the problem was not there on those machines before upgrading to 8.8.

Please check to make sure IE11 was not installed as an automatic update. I tested this on 2 different Windows 7 machines with IE9, 10 and a Windows 8.1 machine with 11 and the page displayed the same both in IE and the SiteKiosk browser.

Is there a certain part of the site that is not displaying correctly for you? Please provide the steps I need to take to replicate the issue.

It is the checkout page, please add an item, then go to Shopping Cart page, then try to checkout after creating a new account... the layout of the checkout page is the page that have a design error as in the ticket title...

what you will see in that checkout page is something like this:

You will need to change the compatibility view of the SiteKiosk browser.

1. Open your SiteKiosk configuration file in Notepad and search for: <ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true" />
2. Replace that line with: <ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true" emulation-mode="10001" />"
3. Save your changes then run SiteKiosk in Start Once mode then close SiteKiosk right after it has fully started.
4. Start SiteKiosk again in Start Once mode and test your issue.
