After credit card is swiped, the card information does not appear if Site Kiosk software is running.

We have about 14 systems running Site Kiosk. Each system has a Magtek card reader (part # 21040107). Up until recently, every reader worked fine with the Site Kiosk browser. If we close Site Kiosk, the card reader does work within Internet Explorer. The only changes that have been made to those systems in the last few months have been upgrades to Adobe Flash player.
Do we have to enable something within Site Kiosk to get the software to recognize the readers?

Is this issue affecting all 14 or your installations? In order to charge for the usage of the terminal, you only need to activate your credit card swipe payment device in the SiteKiosk configuration wizard under >Plus/Payment Bunlde >Payment Devices. In this section, check to make sure support for payment devices is activated and that the credit card reader device is activated. What happens if you click the test button in the credit card reader configuration options?

Please note that the payment device part number you mentioned, 21040107, is the Magtek Mini Swipe Reader (USB) which is a keyboard emulation device so it is not compatible with 'card present' accounts at your payment gateway. This device will likely also require that you select "Emulated by Keyboard" as the card reader type.
