Support Request: When I use shell replacement, it always uses sitekiosk user

Description

Hello,

I would prefer to use another windows account when using shell replacement mode in Site Kiosk. When I go into CUSTOMIZATION section of configuration, I can change the auto login user from Sitekiosk default (I think it's Sitekiosk or Kioskuser) to the windows login of my choice, but if I ever exit from Shell replacement mode it will revert back to default user for the next time I choose shell replacement mode.

How to I make it always use the account I want without it reverting back???

Thanks,
Jeff

It is a default behavior that the custom settings be reset as this is "SiteKiosk Restricted User Account" is the recommended and supported method, However:

What you can do is to export the custom settings (with using the domain account) from within the custom start dialog.
This XML can be used then with the skstartup.exe to set the start settings (e.g. you put the xml into the SiteKiosk folder and create a shortcut to the skstartup.exe with the XML file as parameter).
Example:
SKStartup.exe /i startup.xml

After double clicking the shortcut the start settings are set.
Then you just need to restart the machine.

Further information about this you will find in the SiteKiosk help:

-->7. Export SiteKiosk startup settings
