Support Request: Webpages needs refresh to be displayed correctly

Description

Hi,
We are running SiteKiosk on Win7 with IE9. Several webpages are initially not being displayed correctly in the SiteKiosk Browser - you need to hit refresh in order for them to look as they should. We have made sure that the sites have scripting permissions, so that should not be the problem.
Any ideas?

Hello,

I have tested it with using your configuration on Windows 7 with IE11 and there is no problem.
Therefore you may first install all Windows updates incl. IE11 and check again.

Remark:
The script permission is only necessary for URLs you use the SiteKiosk Object Model code on:

Thanks for the quick reply!

Unfortunately we´re in a kind of restricted environment and cannot update IE/Windows and test your solution. But hopefully we'll be able to do that soon!

Hello,

To be sure I also have tested it with using your configuration on Windows Vista with IE9 and there is also no problem.
So it doesn’t seem to apply to SiteKiosk or the IE version.

You may check if there is any difference when you set the settings for temporary Internet files in Internet Explorer from “Automatically” to “Every time I visit the web page (on my system it was set to “Automatically”)

Please note that this is a user dependent setting. If it works in Run once mode you also have to change it in the SiteKiosk user account (for Auto Start Mode): http://www.provisio.com/CustomerSupportCenter/ArticleDetails.aspx?ArticleID=5826
