Support Request: Cant load PDF

Description

We recently updated adobe reader to adobe reader DC and now we cannot open statements through Site Kiosk.
We have set Adobe to open in web page but the default behavior outside of site kiosk is to open in adobe
We have changed the XML file for SIteKiosk to open with AcroRd32 but that does not work either.

What is the OS and IE version? Which version of SiteKiosk are you running? We do not currently have any reports of issues with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC in SiteKiosk. Have you verified that you can open the PDF in IE outside of SiteKiosk after your update? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing Reader DC?

OS windows 7 sp1 32bit with all current updates.
We tried using ie 11 but ran into several other issues with SiteKiosk so we rolled back to IE10. this resolved all but the PDF issues
Yes, I have verified it works out side of SiteKiosk
I have not tried an uninstall and reinstall. I'll try that as well.
The strangest thing that is happening is that when the PDF is denied in SiteKiosk, nothing is being logged in the log to help troubleshoot any further.

What do you mean by "denied"? Is there an error message? What do you see in the SiteKiosk log file?

we receive a pop up window that says for security purposes this action has been denied.

the log then only contains the following there is no reference to the denied action

Please make sure you have downloads allowed in the SiteKiosk configuration tool under >Basic >File Manager and Downloads. You will need to activate the File Manager if it is not already.
