Support Request: Reboot issue

Description

Every 5 or so reboots the site kiosk starts in emergency mode. The only other thing ofnote VNC didnot install as part of the installprogram.

Hello,

For the SiteKiosk Browser start it doesn’t matter if you installed the VNC components or not.

The emergency configuration will be displayed when he SiteKiosk Browser was restarted by the software watchdog / has crashed within a certain time interval (e.g. 10 times within 20 minutes).

It may apply to the start page you configured or there is anything with the configuration in general.

More detailed information you will find in the SiteKiosk log (…\SiteKiosk\Logfiles).

You should close SiteKiosk and login as administrator, check the logs or even change the start page URL / create a new configuration for testing.

Hello,

I checked your configuration file and you may first reset the setting for the compatibility view back to default.
You did se to IE8 Mode:

<ie8-compatibility-view enabled="true" emulation-mode="8888" />
