Support Request: a: focus not wokring

Description

Hello, due to the fact I am using a tablet to run my kiosk application, which is based on WordPress, a:hover is not working since we are using touch screen. So the solution is using a:focus. When testing it in chrome, it works perfectly, But in IE, it doesn't work which I am aware of the problem using such browser. But when launching the site kiosk, it doesn't work. Any suggestion?

If the solution does not work in the Internet Explorer browser outside of SiteKiosk then it will not work with the IE based browser skins in SiteKiosk.

The SiteKiosk browser is based on the Microsoft web browser control. This is not the Internet Explorer but uses the core browser features of the Internet Explorer that’s installed on your machine. The SiteKiosk Browser uses the same platform "The Microsoft Web Browse control" as other third party applications which have their own proprietary browser but wish to use the core features of the Internet Explorer that is installed on the computer:

For testing it in the Internet Explorer Web browser Control (outside / without SiteKiosk) you can download this ZIP from our web page and then execute the exe after extracting the files (you do not need to install anything): http://www.provisio.com/Download/beta/WebbrowserTestApplication.zip


As an alternative you may test if the website works as expected in the Chrome Full screen Browser... A new template currently available in the most current version of SiteKiosk. The Full screen Browser uses the Chromium engine to display and render web pages in full screen mode. which is uses Chromium framework which is the same thing that Google Chrome is built from. To create Chrome from Chromium, Google takes the source code and adds a number of things like an auto update system, an integrated Flash player, etc and packages it under the name Chrome as an executable.
