Support Request: Chrome Browser loads PDFs slowly

Description

Hello!

My network has several workstations currently using an older version of Sitekiosk (v 8.9) and I am testing out version 9.1.3336 to see if it suits our needs better, as Chrome renders our company intranet better than IE11. I am have configured SiteKiosk to use the Chrome Browser, and have configured the browser to navigate our intranet site. We have a page where it hosts PDFs on our web server. Links on this page open the PDF files in the browser. The largest of the PDFs are no bigger than 1 MB in size. However, on my test machine running SiteKiosk 9.1, I am currently experiencing a long loading time for PDF's, where the PDF's take around 30 seconds to load from the time of clicking the link to actually displaying the PDF in the SiteKiosk browser. This time can be longer, depending on the amount of pages in the document. On my main workstation, I can open these PDF's in Chrome nearly instantly.
I do not believe that this is a network issue, as all of my workstations are on the same switch and are not affected by any VLANS, different configurations, etc., and our intranet server is also on the same switch.
Can you please advise me on how to fix this? Thank you.

Sincerely,
William Haggard,
Network Administrator

There are currently no settings in SiteKiosk to make changes to the PDF display in the Chrome based browsers:

The Chrome Skins use the CEF Browser (Chromium Embedded Framework) as basis which has an integrated feature to display PDF.
Due to the security filtering in the background the PDF display may takes a bit longer in SiteKiosk's integrated CEF than in Chrome.
Furthermore the PDF will be downloaded completely first before it will be displayed in SiteKiosk.

Thank you for your reply.

Is there any way to optimize the security filtering? It seems like loading PDFs takes forever, compared to both Chrome and the IE Sitekiosk browser.
Thanks,
William
