Support Request: Support - Config error

Reproduction

I can't configure my sitekiosk after updating the software to version 8.2.


A cultura não é suportada.
Nome do parâmetro: culture
3094 (0x0c16) é um identificador de cultura inválido.

Hello,

The error message means that the culture code the system reports is not known to the Microsoft culture base.
>>>3094 (0x0c16) is an invalid culture identifier.

Unfortunately there was no attachment with further information.

With older 8x versions there was a problem with the culture code.

Please first verify that you downloaded the most current version of SiteKiosk (8.2.797) and installed it:

Make sure that the system fulfills the system requirements:

Also make sure that you installed all available Windows updates.



If you considered the above requirements and the error still occurs please check the following:
Check the current “Format” setting on Windows at -->Start-->Control Panel-->Region and Language.
If it is e.g. set to “Portuguese (Portugal)” set it to “English (United Kingdom or United States)” and confirm the setting with “Apply” or “Ok”.
Then set it back again to “Portuguese (Portugal)” and confirm the setting with “Apply” or “Ok”.
Then restart the machine.

When done please try again to open the new SiteKiosk Configuration wizard.



In case that does not help any further please send us an e-mail with the following information:
- The operating sysem do you use
- Internet Explorer version that is installed
- Exact SiteKiosk Version you use
- If you have tried to load an older SiteKiosk configuration file from a previous version please send the original configuration file.
