Support Request: SiteKiosk won't shut down / quit

Description

The tablet is locked down to run an app.

I've tried dragging around all 4 corners, and tapping them in order, which doesn't work. The tablet isn't registered with SiteRemote.

Due to it being locked down I'm unable to supply the configuration and logfiles.

Hello,

This is by design. When having another APP in the foreground it can happen that the touch event doesn’t come through to SiteKiosk.

Therefore we added a second method to exit SiteKiosk by tapping the home button in the Android status bar 5-6 times in 3 seconds.

The app in particular (it's not on the Play Store so I cannot provide a link) doesn't have the buttons - the statusbar is still visible but the buttons (these http://i.stack.imgur.com/MdExW.gif) aren't there, only the hardware home button which doesn't work when pressing it 5-6 times. Are there any other methods?

Hello,

This isn’t about the home button of the app but the home button of from Android.
Generally the hardware button should also work when it has the same function like the home button on the status bar of Android.
You may check again and make sure to press the hardware home button 10 times minimum within a short time (e.g. 5 Seconds).
