Support Request: In autorun SiteKiosk loging out

Description

If in run once, no problem, everything is running smoothly. If put in autorun, the machine boots up, logs in Sitekiosk restricted user and then on a black screen, I get the message Sitekiosk user logging out.

Then I get the logging a user screen: administrator or Sitekiosk and the connected keyboard is unavailable, I have to use the onscreen one to log in the administrator user.

What could cause this strange behaviour?

Anytime there is a difference between Autostart and Start Once, it indicates there is a Windows user account specific setting causing your issue. In Start Once, SiteKiosk runs under the
Admin account you are logged in as. In default Autostart mode, SiteKiosk runs under a Windows users account that it creates during installation. I recommend first logging into the SiteKiosk account without SiteKiosk running and testing in Windows to ensure everything is working properly outside of SiteKiosk.

The steps required to login to the SiteKiosk user account and change the Windows settings are described in the following post:

You may need to check with your Network Administrator with regards to Group policy or Security Restrictions in place that would affect the creation and automated login of a Windows User Account.

An easy way to determine which setting or Group policy is affecting this would be to install SiteKiosk on a default Windows Operating System (free from any Group Policy / Security Updates).

If you are not joined to a domain or have any special restrictions in place then you may need to completely reinstall SiteKiosk to fix for example any missing or corrupted files:
To do a complete uninstall, go to add/remove programs (Programs & Features) in the Windows control panel select SiteKiosk and choose "Change" (not Uninstall) then choose the "Remove" radio button. Next check the box "Remove all created data" and proceed with the uninstall. This will remove all the SiteKiosk program files from your PC at which point you can reinstall.
