Support Request: MSword/MSExcel files are not saving

Dear Team,

System is not allowing to save the ms word, excel files. It shows the message security of the system blocked this access.
Further configuration menu is displaying as "Basic" , we purchased proffessional version.

Hello,

The screenshot is correct as it shows that you have access to the BASIC and PLUS features of the software. According to our records, you purchased the PLUS version of the software. There is no "Professional" version. If you need the access to the "PAY" features you will need to purchase an Upgrade Level from our online store.


If you are getting the error “for security reason this action is not allowed”, that means that you do not have downloads allowed under Basic > File Manager or a window or dialog box is being blocked by the SiteKiosk software for security reasons. To allow the window, you may need to edit the settings in the “Windows and Dialogs” settings in the SiteKiosk configuration file. (BASIC > Access/Security > Block system critical windows & dialog boxes)

For testing purposes, you will want to uncheck the option, and test your application and see if it opens properly.

If the above mentioned test allows the software applications to work properly, you will need to isolate which settings in “Windows and Dialogs” are blocking the applications that you are using.

Generally you would navigate to BASIC > Access/Security > Block system critical windows & dialog boxes then click on "settings". Look under the "Window title" column and delete "Open*", "Save*" .
