Support Request: Home Page

Description

All my site kiosk workstations have stopped working. They are saying they can't get to the home page. When I try the 'test page' function, it works. We have some newer licenses, those had the same issues. Those were updated to the latest release and that fixed them. According to your site, I can only update to the latest release for up to 1 year of purchase?

I want to know that I won't be stuck having to purchase new licenses if I upgrade to the latest software version.

Updates are free of charge within 12 months of your purchase date. Updates can be purchased for $69.00 per license. Please contact us at sales-us(at)provisio.com for more information about your purcahse date. In the email please provide invoice number or license. Do not post that information here in the public support forum.

Did you make any recent changes to the SiteKiosk configuration file? What is the site you are using as the start page? What is the OS and IE version you are running?

Made no changes to the config file. All 11 workstations broke at the same time. Was using IE8, upgraded to IE9 on one of them to test. Same issue. Home page is set to https://www.healthcare.gov/. We have other, newer, licensed workstations and they all work, only ones not working were the initial batch that we purchased.

What is the SiteKiosk version, IE version and OS difference between the workstations that are displaying the site properly and the ones that are not? Are you able to replicate the issue with a default configuration file? Please send a copy of your configuration file to ward(at)provisio.com.
