Support Request: Screen goes black

Description

Can you help and tell me why when SiteKiosk starts up, the screen appears for less the 30 seconds then goes black. I can only see my mouse cursor. Any key board combination I try will not bring SiteKiosk back. I can only perform CTRL-ALt-DEL, to switch users and log in to restart all over. Also, I have tried SiteKiosk System Security in protected mode and unprotected mode and made SiteKiosk user an administrator. Power options on the computer have been set to never shut off.

Any ideas on things to check?

Does this happen in Start Once and in Autostart mode? What do you see on the screen for the 30 seconds before it goes black? If you are able to use Ctrl+Alt+Del it seems that SiteKiosk is not running since that would normallly be blocked. You could try to temporarily disable your antivirus and other security tools to see if that is conflicting with SiteKiosk.

Thanks for the post, I believe I am having a hard drive issue. when I restart the machine Windows 8 tries to repair the disk everytime and now it doesn't even boot to windows anymore.
