Support Request: Can't start kiosk

Description

Hello,

I downloaded site kiosk this morning, installed it and configured a profile.

When launching in kiosk mode "start once" to test it and the large padlock / vault logo appears in the background but does nothing further - about 5-10 minutes later another pop up "Unregistered copy, please wait 30 seconds", waiting another 10 minutes does nothing.

The PC specs are - Brand new Dell Optiplex 9020 i5 4590 @ 3.3ghz with 4gb ram, Windows 7 x64

Are you remoting into the machine where SiteKiosk is running? What is the OS and IE version? You could try to temporarily disable your antivirus to see if that is interfering with SiteKiosk running. You could try to do a complete uninstall by choosing "Change" in the list of install programs then select the options "Remove" and "Automatically delete all created data".

Hi Ward,

The machine is brand new out of the box, has no anti virus and I am using the machine directly.

I'll try the repair feature now

Do you see anything in the Windows event log after this occurs? This is not a known issue. We do not have any report of a similar issue. It sounds like something on the machine is conflicting with SiteKiosk. You can try removing the extra software and drivers that has been added by vendor to see if that resolves the issue.
