Support Request: Website Does Not Work

Description

We use SiteKiosk for a public computer which hourly employees use to log their hours. We recently switched to ADP, and their website does not work correctly using SiteKiosk. In particular, users can log into the website, but once signed in, they are unable to load drop-down menus or dynamic content on the site. Are there any settings I am missing that might enable this content, or are we out of luck?

The website in question lists the following browsers as compatible (this PC is running Windows 7 Pro, IE11 is installed, and the site works through the regular desktop):

Microsoft® Internet Explorer®
– Version 9 on Microsoft Windows® 7 SP1 (32 and 64 bits)
– Version 10 on Microsoft Windows® 7 SP1 (32 and 64 bits) and Microsoft Windows® 8 (32 and 64 bits)
– Version 11 on Microsoft Windows® 7 SP1 (32 and 64 bits) and Microsoft Windows® 8.1 (excluding RT Touch Screen, which is not supported or certified by ADP)

Mozilla® Firefox®
– Version 31 and higher on Microsoft Windows® 7 SP1 (32 and 64 bits), Microsoft Windows® 8 (32 and 64 bits), Microsoft Windows® 8.1 (excluding RT Touch Screen, which is not supported or certified by ADP), Apple® Mac OS® Mountain Lion® version 10.8, and Apple® Mac OS® Mavericks 10.9

Apple® Safari®
– Version 7.x on Apple® Mac OS® Mavericks 10.9

Google Chrome™
– Current version (auto-update) on Microsoft Windows® 7 SP1 (32 and 64 bits), Microsoft Windows® 8 (32 and 64 bits), Microsoft Windows® 8.1 (excluding RT Touch Screen, which is not supported or certified by ADP), Apple® Mac OS® Mountain Lion® version 10.8, and Apple® Mac OS® Mavericks 10.9

You can try to enable the IE download dialog in SiteKiosk to resolve the issue. Do the following to use the Internet Explorer download dialog box instead of the SiteKiosk download manager.

1. Right-click your configuration file and open with Notepad.
2. Press Ctrl+F and copy the below line then hit enter:

<msdownloaddlg-urls />

3. When you find the line above... delete it and replace with the line below:

<msdownloaddlg-urls>

</msdownloaddlg-urls>

4. Change http://aWebPage.com/ to your own website.

OR

You can also try taking SiteKiosk out of the user agent header in case the site is performing some type of browser identification. To do this, open the SiteKiosk configuration tool and go to >Basic >Start Page & Browser >Advanced and uncheck the box labeled Add SiteKiosk to use agent header.

Thank you for the suggestions. However, neither has resolved the problem. Is there anything else I can try?

I am having the same issue with workforce.adp.com for my company. So far I have only found that the full screen Chrome skin in Provisio software version 8.9 works. However I am not able to upgrade with license I have even though the documentation states that we have unlimited upgrades. I am using it for evaluation only and looking into the license issue.
