Support Request: 2 instances of SiteKiosk are trying to run.

Description

Hello,

I am currently running Windows 8.1 x64 on a Microsoft Surface 2 tablet. We currently have an Active Directory account set to automatically log in to the SiteKiosk software. Upon logging into the account, the sitekiosk software will launch properly, but within a day or 2 the account will be logged out for no apparent reason. When trying to log back in an error message is displayed stating that we are trying to run 2 instances of SiteKiosk.

I have already re-imaged the Surface and also reinstalled the SiteKiosk software per another support article on your site. Please help!

Under normal circumstances.. Users have no access and not even able to access the Windows Logon Screen when SiteKiosk is set to Autostart.

You may need to check with your System/Network Administrator if here were any recent Group Policies pushed that would have affected the User Account you are using to start SiteKiosk in?

You may also check your Windows Event logs and the SiteKiosk log files for more information on what would have happened on the backend at the time the issue occurred:

default, the log files are saved as a Year-Month-Day.txt file to the subfolder "Log files" which is located in the SiteKiosk installation folder. The preset file path is :
C://programfiles/sitekiosk/logfiles

You may also check the log files from your SiteKiosk Configuration tool (Basic > Log files )
